About Me
I am a triple board-certified endocrinologist and lifestyle medicine specialist with over 15 years of experience, licensed in Texas and California. As the founder and CEO of DFW Endocrinology, I lead a thriving practice with two locations in Texas. I have a special certification in the Diabetes Remission program from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM).
My passion is to empower individuals to make lifestyle changes to prevent, manage, and achieve reversal/remission of chronic conditions, specifically diabetes mellitus and obesity.
In 2024, I piloted a study with ACLM on diabetes remission using a shared medical appointment model and became the co-investigator for the LEADR (Lifestyle Empowerment for Achieving Diabetes Remission) program. Our program utilized CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) and a team-based approach involving an endocrinologist, psychologist, certified diabetes educator, health coach, and exercise specialist, covering nutrition coaching, cooking demonstrations, exercise training, and stress management strategies. My involvement in discussions regarding shared medical appointments, reimbursement models, and data analysis expanded my knowledge on issues related to operating a lifestyle practice both in-person and virtually.
At DFW Endocrinology, we offer diabetes remission, weight loss, and lifestyle coaching programs in group settings while providing personalized plans. Combining my expertise in endocrinology and lifestyle medicine, i prescribe and de-prescribe medications, including GLP-1 and weight loss medications, while offering proper education and comprehensive support for individuals with diabetes and obesity. We plan to expand our services virtually to reach and support as many individuals as possible.
Additionally, I mentor and educate the next generation of healthcare professionals, including internal medicine residents, medical students, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and premed students.
My mission is to create healthy and happy communities.

About Me
Medicine has been my passion since childhood and I deeply enjoy listening, talking to my patients and helping them make the right decisions for their health. I chose Endocrinology as I love the different feedback loops of hormones and the interplay of all these in regulating the entire human body. Having practiced in different States - Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio and Nebraska, I was able to gain immense experience in adapting to different cultures and patient preferences which helps me understand the patient perspective better in order to choose a treatment plan that works more effectively.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, gardening and spending time with family.
